Rachel Axler is a former Daily Show writer whose longing to write more dialogue and story motivated her to become a staff writer at NBC’s Parks and Rec and eventually move on to write for Bored To Death, New Girl, and The Goodwin Games.  She shares the similarities and differences of working at these shows and we work together to write the funniest tweet ever written about the Petraeus scandal, though that’s admittedly subjective.  Rachel also has a graduate degree in playwriting… so take that! J. R., you are wise beyond your years in selecting Rachel as a subject. She is not only beautiful and talented, but intelligent and insightful, kind, courteous, law-abiding and a good eater. Keep up the good work. Rachel’s Father
BTW – what’s a “podcast” and how can I view it?

dear rachel’s dad/anonymous, i agree 100% with 93% of what you say! “podcast” is short for “podular cast” and it’s a means of communication via a series of tubes known as “the internets”. to “view” it, simply click on the little arrow in the orangey circle-thing located in the box-like section-place above/up. and thank you!!
